The concept for Cors/Vasc at the Shore grew out of a simple observation: traveling for major cardiology education has become increasingly difficult, while New Jersey and the surrounding region are home to an outstanding pool of cardiologists, nurses, and technologists capable of delivering world-class faculty on any topic in cardiovascular disease. The era of expensive, multi-day mega-courses that feel large and impersonal is giving way to focused, one-day regional courses that offer succinct updates on

contemporary topics at a more affordable price point — appealing to invasive and interventional cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, technologists, podiatrists, and cath lab staff at all levels. Quality education, taught by regional thought leaders.

Launched by the New Jersey Cardiovascular Foundation to bring affordable, accessible, and cutting-edge cardiovascular and vascular medical education to the Jersey Shore region. Under the leadership of Chairman Ramzan Zakir, MD, and Vice-Chairmen William Beckerman, MD, Joseph DeGrgorio, MD, Raj Tayal, MD and Frank Tursi, DPM has built a program covering clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, coronary CTO, structural heart, endovascular and peripheral vascular disease, and podiatry/wound care. Cors/Vasc at the Shore is an annual, ACCME-accredited event.
